Join a Project
If you want to start contributing to some project, you need to join it — i.e. become a member of that project.
Navigate to the project you're going to contribute to.
If you're already a member, you'll be listed on the project's page under project members. If not, contact the project administrator and ask for membership.
To find out who the project administrator is, click the Members widget on the project page:
Find a project
While every project can be found by its name, some projects are grouped thematically and can be searched by their specific tag as well.
To find a project by name
Press Control+K and start typing the project name.
Alternatively:
On the main navigation menu, choose Projects:
On the Projects page, start typing the project name into the Filter by name field.
To find a project by tag:
On the main navigation menu, choose Projects.
Click Filter by tag and choose a tag from the list.
View Project Members and their Responsibilities
Project members are the members that work on the project. They are provided with specific rights to access internal project resources and contribute to the project (e.g. commit to the project repositories, participate in code reviews).
Each project member has a Responsibility within the project — a part of the project they are in charge of.
To view project members:
Navigate to your project.
On the project page, click the Members widget:
All members of this project will be listed.
To view responsibilities of the project members:
Navigate to your project.
On the project sidebar menu, choose Project Settings:
On the Project Settings page, choose the tab:
