Missing visibility

Reports the properties, constants, and methods that are declared without visibility definition.

Locating this inspection

By ID

Can be used to locate inspection in e.g. Qodana configuration files, where you can quickly enable or disable it, or adjust its settings.

According to PSR-12, visibility MUST be defined on:

  • All properties,

  • All constants if your project's PHP minimum version supports constant visibilities (PHP 7.1 or later),

  • All methods.
