Inspectopedia 2024.3 Help

Class is closed to inheritance

Reports classes that are declared final. Final classes that extend a sealed class or interface are not reported. Such classes can't be inherited and may indicate a lack of object-oriented design. Some coding standards discourage final classes.

Example:

public final class Main { }

After the quick-fix is applied:

public class Main { }
