With apps, you can customize the appearance of YouTrack, add UI widgets, forms, and extra pages, implement complex automation, and enhance your work experience.

An app is a package that contains one or more modules. Each module represents an extension of the core functionality or the appearance of YouTrack. YouTrack supports multiple extension points that are placed in specific locations around the user interface. Other extension points let you build integrations using webhooks and custom endpoints. If you want to build an app for YouTrack, you should probably be familiar with JavaScript, JSON, HTML, and CSS. You'll also want to use the documentation provided here to become familiar with the API methods used by apps.
