Code Inspection: Assignment could be replaced with operator assignment

Reports an assignment operation that can be replaced by an operator assignment to make your code shorter and probably clearer.

Example:

x = x + 3;
x = x / 3;

After the quick fix is applied the result looks like:

x += 3;
x /= 3;

Suppress an inspection in the editor

  1. Position the caret at the highlighted line and press Alt+Enter or click the Intention action icon.

  2. Click the arrow next to the inspection you want to suppress and select the necessary suppress action.
