IDE Provisioner Restricted Mode

In some cases, IDE Provisioner may be disabled for your organization. This can occur if:

Besides, IDE Provisioner may be disabled for a specific profile while being active on the organization level. To enable it, navigate to relevant profiles.

When disabled, IDE Provisioner doesn't stop completely but continues to operate in a restricted mode, handling essential components and features necessary for IDE Services and supported products to function. If you have License Vault, Code With Me Enterprise and AI Enterprise enabled for your organization, they will not be affected. However, managing the distribution of IDE applications, their plugins, and propagating their settings will be disabled.

The following features are NOT available when IDE Provisioner is disabled:

  • IDE distribution management. Adding or removing IDE applications and corresponding restrictions. Auto-installing IDEs.

  • Specifying IDE Settings and their propagation.

  • Setting up VM Options for IDEs.

  • IDE plugin management. Auto-installing or disabling plugins.

  • Storing IDE plugins in an internal plugin repository and distributing them to the users.

The following features remain available even when IDE Provisioner is disabled:
